FOUNDED
IN SEPTEMBER 1985, The
Greater St. Louis Knitters' Guild is dedicated to promoting
the craft and knowledge of knitting. The Guild sponsors
extensive workshops and programs dedicated to the knitter.
Through its work, the Guild also supports charitable foundations
in the Greater St. Louis area.
This
Web site is designed to further support the Guild's mission:
to promote interest and skills in knitting, to encourage
high standards of quality in workmanship, and to encourage
the use of those skills for the benefit of others. To that
end, we offer a variety of opportunities for you: programs,
workshops, knit-ins, social activities, community service,
a monthly newsletter and a guild library.
We
offer our friendship, together with our knitting knowledge,
in the belief that knitters joyfully share a common love.
