This
is my SS300. My Sock Shawl has over 300 different
sock yarns in it. The pattern is from Ravelry, it's
the Shelly Kang Sock Blankie. There is a Ravelry group
devoted to it called Blankiemania. I swapped 5 gram
mini skeins of yarn in the Mini Mall & Mini Mania
groups on Ravelry and have about 4,000 minis stashed
now! I made 31-stitch mitered squares on 2.5US/3mm
needles and only used light & bright colors, nothing
dark. My squares used a little less than half of a
mini. I loved every aspect of this project. The swapping
is a great way to get a fabulous mix of yarns and
colors.

my
scarf is knit in Tundra Glitz, 100 yds. I cast on
6 st. & used size 2 dp.needles. The co. is Rozetti.
I bought it at Knitorious Knits. It came in several
different colors. I think Pat N bought some in white
& I did see a green also.
