Rose
H
This
beauty is made mostly from Koigu yarn from the book
A Painter's Palette. Rose continues to amaze
with her beautiful projects.
from
Rose: The jacket pattern is made with three sizes
of mitered/domino squares patchwork pattern. Each
square takes only 20, 30 or 40 minutes to do and is
finished with a sense of accomplishment. I used #2
needles and added left over sock yarn and metallic
thread in compatible colorways.

This
market bag is a Rose original, created when she worked
in a knit shop in Columbia. Rose has very generously
chosen to share the pattern - click

Amanda
Y
Supreme
budget maven that she is, Amanda was able to produce
this felted bag for $2! Materials included a thrift
store sweater, knitted & lined strap, spray-painted
zipper and buttons from stash. An inspiration!
From
Amanda: The sweater was a hand-knit UFO that I
got at an estate sale and it even came with the needles
still in the neck and extra yarn. I had to weave in
88 ends to finish the fair isle. Instead of stitching
up the sleeves, I just turned them into pockets. Very
fun project! |

Deborah
F
Not
to be done outdone by Amanda in the thriftiness department,
Deborah created this beauty for a mere $12 using one
of Colourmart's luxury blends. For more details, check
out Deborah's ravelry
page. |

Donita

This
is a new knitter's first major project - even nicer
in person. She claims that it's full of mistakes,
but you'd never know it.

Virginia
shared her cabled vest as well as an antique knitting
bag (eye candy - too delicate to fill!). |
Wonder
