Potluck and Founders' Day Luncheons, etc.) for the second
Saturday of each month from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at the main
Library Headquarters Auditorium, 1640 South
Lindbergh Boulevard (opposite Plaza Frontenac), St. Louis,
MO (unless noted otherwise). The County Library Meeting
Room Lottery is now held twice a year so actual meeting
dates are determined six months at a time. Please
check our calendar below and mark your own calendar accordingly.
demand for meeting space at the Headquarters library has
been caused by the current Capital Improvement Projects
at the St. Louis County Library. As a result, there are
several months when we will not be meeting at the Headquarters

Knittery is getting a new supply of Black Bunny Fibers;
the Salt River Mills trunk show continues; fall classes
coming up; a dog sweater knitalong sounds like great fun
with either an intarsia heart or dogbone decoration.
One Weave Two: no news
Knitorious: Sandy Kulash thanks
everyone at the guild who participated in our 2015 Summer
Last Blast Yarn Crawl. Knitorious is now an Ashford
dealer and is now carrying Ashford Joy and Kiwi spinning
wheels and weaving . Lots of fall classes, check website.
House/Weaving Department: Nancy Quade from Myers
House let the group know the House is up on the auction
block soon. Nothing is definitively known about what the
fate of the yarn shop will be, it depends on the new owners.
Nancy is bravely facing a new future, she'll let us know
as she discovers the new plans.
Update: The auction took place August
19; the new owner has informed Nancy that she can continue
operations. Good news for us!
